Each host on evee sets their own cleaning expectations for when the vehicle is returned. Check the Rental Conditions section of the listing to understand what is required for your rental.
When cleaning is included
If the listing shows Cleaning included, the following minimum standards still apply when returning the vehicle:
Remove all rubbish and personal belongings from the vehicle.
Wipe down any excessive dust or dirt on the exterior with a damp cloth.
Vacuum the interior to remove any excessive dirt, mud, debris, or pet hair.
When cleaning is not included
If the listing requires the vehicle to be returned clean, check the listing description or contact your host for their specific expectations. You may wash the vehicle:
At home using car wash soap and microfibre cleaning products.
At a hand-wash car wash using the hand tools. Do not use an automatic car wash without checking with your host first.
Additional cleaning fees
Additional cleaning fees may apply if the vehicle is returned with any of the following:
Stains or spillages
Marks or scuffs
Mud or debris
Strong or persistent odours
Where professional cleaning is required, your host may pass those costs on to you.
If you are unsure whether the vehicle is in a satisfactory condition for return, contact your host before dropping it off.
