If a traffic violation occurs during your rental period, the initial notice will be sent to your host, as the vehicle is registered in their name. Your host will forward a copy of the notice to evee, and we will review it to confirm that the violation occurred within your rental dates.

Please note: It can take several weeks for a violation notice to be received following the date of the offence.

If the violation date falls within your rental period, evee will provide the minimum necessary details to the host to nominate you as the responsible driver at the time. The fine and any associated demerit points will then be transferred to your name through the official government channel in your state.

You will be notified of the nomination and provided with further instructions on how to resolve the violation. evee may also follow up with you to confirm that the traffic violation was incurred during your rental period.
