Limitations and prohibitions

The following restrictions apply to all rentals on the evee platform. By accepting the evee Renter Terms of Service, you agree to comply with these conditions. For full details, please refer to Section 12 of the Renter Terms.

Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all vehicles on the evee platform. Renters who smoke in a vehicle will incur additional charges for any damage caused and for any specialist cleaning required.

Transportation of dangerous goods

Transporting dangerous goods that may cause damage to the vehicle is prohibited. Dangerous goods include:

  • Flammable liquids and gases — petrol, diesel, propane, butane

  • Explosives — fireworks, ammunition, or other explosive materials

  • Corrosive substances — acids, alkalis, and other corrosive chemicals

  • Toxic or poisonous substances — pesticides and hazardous chemicals

  • Radioactive materials — any substances that emit radiation

  • Biological hazards — medical waste, infectious substances, or other materials posing a risk to human health

Damage resulting from the transportation of dangerous goods may result in substantial additional charges.

Commercial use

Vehicles rented through evee are strictly for personal use only. Any form of commercial use is prohibited, including:

  • Ride-sharing and passenger-for-hire services — operating the vehicle on platforms such as Uber, DiDi, or any other service where passengers are carried for payment, hire, or reward of any kind

  • Sub-renting or on-lending the vehicle — renting, lending, or otherwise allowing a third party to use the vehicle in exchange for any form of compensation

  • Deriving income from the vehicle — using the vehicle in any way that generates revenue, including delivery services, advertising, or any other commercial activity

Engaging in any commercial use during your rental will void your insurance coverage for the duration of that activity. You will be held fully responsible for any damage, liability, or loss incurred as a result.

For full details, refer to Section 12 of the Renter Terms of Service.
